What's new

What we've built, newest first. Each entry is dated by the day it was built and tested. A change reaches the live site with the next release. Price changes are announced here 14 days before they apply, and what you've already bought never changes.

  • Help centre and answers. Fifteen how-to articles, 20 common questions answered, our fair-use policy and community rules.
  • Your own words on US federal jobs. On a USAJOBS job, we don't write, rewrite or proofread the essay answers. The US Office of Personnel Management (OPM) asks applicants to certify they're their own words. You get each question, what it looks for, and notes from your resume instead.
  • Invite friends and give gifts. Your link gives friends 15% off their first purchase. You get a free Interview Kit 7 days after a friend buys. Any option can be a gift, sent by a private link that works once.
  • Share pictures. Post a picture with your invite link, or I made it. when you get an offer. Neither says anything about you or the job.
  • 69 free guides. Plain guides to each stage of hiring, 20 common interview questions, 30 jobs, and government applications in five countries. Five compare other job tools with us. Every fact links its official source.
  • Closing dates read with care. If a date could be read two ways, such as 03/04, we don't guess or send a reminder. The job's page shows the ad's own words instead.
  • Try it on the home page. A short demo of the four steps: paste an ad, add a resume, build a kit, practise.

  • Employers' AI rules come first. If an ad or an employer's email asks you not to use AI, we show the line. Then we pause our help for that part of the job.
  • Coach mode for take-home tasks. It explains the task, helps you plan and research it, and proofreads your draft. It never writes any of it.
  • Your AI-use note. Each job records what you gave us, what we wrote and what you changed. It ends with a sentence to use if an employer asks.
  • Confidential check. If a document says it's confidential, we show you the line. Take it out, and we delete its text.
  • Your jobs and reminders. Set where you're up to and your interview date. We remind you before closing dates and interviews, then ask what they asked.
  • Seven free tools. A file and page checker, a word counter, a STAR template and a camera and microphone check. Also an interview countdown, salary scripts and scenario questions. No sign-up, and nothing is uploaded.
  • Prices per job. Application Pack US$12, Interview Kit US$39 with its documents, and Job Hunt Pass US$169 for 5 kits in 90 days. In Australia: A$18, A$55 and A$239. One payment, tax included, and nothing renews.
  • Your next interview. Invited back? Get a new full kit for that kind of interview, without repeating earlier questions. Each job includes up to 3 interviews.
  • PDFs and right-to-left kits. Download your kit and cheat sheet as PDFs to read anywhere. Arabic kits read right to left, with Arabic and Hindi fonts in every PDF and Word file.
  • Edit your documents in place. Live word and page counts show the ad's limits. Select words to make them shorter, clearer or more formal, with nothing new added. Write a document again with a note, or download them all at once.
  • What the ad requires. Your free preview shows each must-have in the ad, and whether your resume shows it yet.
  • They'll ask about this. Each new line you keep in your documents gets a kit card on how to answer questions about it.
  • Beta labels. Kits in Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Hindi and Arabic say beta. Each keeps the label until its kits pass our quality tests.
  • Preview reminders. If you don't buy after your free preview, we send two reminder emails, then no more. One click stops them.

  • Application documents. A resume made for the ad, and the cover letter, statement or selection criteria it asks for, within its limits. Word and PDF.
  • How far to tailor. Choose As written, Tailored or Confident for your resume. Every line beyond your own words is marked for you to keep or take out.
  • More than one document. Add the position description or selection criteria to a job. We read them all together.
  • Where they'll ask the most. The themes the ad stresses, ranked, in its own words. Those cards go deeper, with the follow-up questions a panel may keep asking.
  • Deeper research on the employer. Its strategy, projects that matter, and values and how to show them. Also the problem the role is there to fix, and what to mention.
  • Kit extras. Five questions to ask, a closing line, and the ad's words marked in your answers. Fill in gaps on the card, see what to find out first, and test yourself.
  • Friends rate your delivery. Practice links add three ticks: eye contact, pace, and staying calm.
  • Sign in with Google. As well as a code by email. Inside apps like Instagram, use the email code instead.
  • Bot check. A quick check that you're a person, when you sign in and when you start a job, to stop abuse.

29 October 2026

  • sealtheoffer.com opens. The first version of the site goes live.
  • Start from any job ad. Paste it or its link, or add a PDF, a Word file or screenshots.
  • How to apply, from the ad. A checklist of what the ad asks, each item quoting the ad's own words.
  • Free preview. One full answer to the question you're most likely to be asked, written from your resume.
  • The Interview Kit. 15 answer cards on 8 of your stories, each with the chance it's asked. Examples are labelled as made up.
  • Research and a cheat sheet. A brief on the employer with its sources, a one-page cheat sheet and tips for the day.
  • Add your own question, or rewrite a card. Make it shorter, simpler, more senior, or built on another example.
  • Practise with a Friend. Send a link. They ask your questions and rate each answer, with no account.
  • Your stories. Up to 12 stories from your resume, each one yours to edit.
  • Sign in with an email code. No passwords to remember.
  • Your data, your choice. Download everything, sign out on every device, or delete your account in Settings.
  • Plain-English policies. Privacy, terms, refunds, support, and how we use AI.
