Creator agreement

Seal the Offer is run by OceanX Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 67 615 055 368), Australia. Here, “we” and “us” mean OceanX Consulting Pty Ltd, and “you” means the creator.

This agreement starts when we approve your application. Our general terms also apply to your account. Where they differ, this agreement wins for the creator program.

• You must be at least 18 and give true details when you apply.
• You must be able to receive money by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer.
• We read every application. We may say no without giving a reason.
• You join as an independent creator. You aren't our employee, agent or partner, and you can work with anyone else too.

When we approve you, you get a code (for example PRIYA15) and a page on our site (for example sealtheoffer.com/c/priya). We choose the code and the page address with you in mind.

• Your code gives 15% off to a new customer: someone who hasn't bought from us before.
• After their first purchase with your code, it keeps giving them 15% off for 90 days. After that, it gives them nothing.
• Opening your page saves your code on that device for 30 days, so the discount is there when they buy.
• Only one code works on a purchase. Codes don't work on gifts.

You earn 30% of what a customer pays, before tax, for each purchase that uses your code. This applies to purchases in the 90 days after their first purchase with it.

• In each calendar month (UTC), your sales above 50 earn 40% instead.
• A purchase counts as yours if the customer typed your code at checkout. If they typed none, it's yours if your page was the last link with a code they opened. That must be within 30 days, on that device. Another creator's page or a friend's link would replace yours. A code typed at checkout always wins, and only one code can count.
• We work out commission in US dollars. A sale in Australian dollars is converted at the rate our prices are set from (US$1 = A$1.4236).
• You earn nothing on your own purchases, on purchases by accounts or cards linked to you, or on gifts.
• Partial refunds don't change your commission. Full refunds and chargebacks do (see the next section).

• Each commission waits 30 days in case the customer asks for a refund or disputes the payment.
• If nothing goes wrong in those 30 days, it's approved.
• If the sale is fully refunded or disputed, its commission is taken back, even after it's approved. If we've already paid it, we take it off your next payout.
• If we find a sale was your own, or broke the rules below, it earns nothing.

• Once a month, we pay your approved commissions, less anything taken back, when they come to US$50 or more. Below that, they wait for the next month.
• We pay in US dollars by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer, as you choose on your dashboard. We pay our side's sending fee. Any fee to receive or convert the money is yours.
• We email you each time we pay.
• You're responsible for your own taxes. Where the law needs it, we may ask for tax details before we pay.

Be honest and helpful. Every time you share your code or page, say that you earn from it. For example, “I earn a commission” or #ad. Follow the advertising rules where your audience lives and the rules of each platform you post on.

You must not:

• promise a job or an interview, or say anything about Seal the Offer that isn't true;
• buy with your own code, or use other accounts, people or cards to earn commission;
• pay for search or social ads on our name, or bid on it, without our written OK;
• post your code on coupon or deal sites, send spam, or offer people money to buy;
• pretend to be us, or change our logo or make it look like we endorse your content.

Your page shows your name, your photo and one line in your words. You keep owning your photo and words. While you're a creator, you let us show them on your page and in our creator emails. You also let us resize your photo to fit.

You confirm you have the right to share them. We may remove anything that breaks this agreement or the law.

Your dashboard shows clicks, free previews, sales, revenue and commission. For each sale, you see only the customer's country and what they bought, never who they are.

We keep your application (name, links, audience and country), your page, and how you want to be paid. Our privacy notice for creators says more.

• You can leave at any time. Email us and we'll end it.
• We can end it at any time with 14 days' notice by email. If you break this agreement, we can end it at once.
• When it ends, your code and page stop working. Commissions from before the end are still approved after their 30 days, and paid. That holds even if they come to less than US$50. It doesn't apply to commissions that came from breaking this agreement.

We may change this agreement, including the commission. We'll email you at least 30 days before a change applies. Sales made before then earn what was agreed when they were made. If you don't accept a change, you can leave before it applies.

As far as the law allows:

• we're not responsible for indirect loss;
• our total responsibility to you is limited to the commission we paid you in the 12 months before a claim.

This agreement is governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and its courts can hear any dispute.
