How we write these guides
Every rule, step and number in a guide comes from an official page, such as a government's own careers site. Each guide links those pages and shows the day we last checked them.
The examples are made up, to show the shape of a good answer. Your own answers should be true stories from your own work. Rules change, so always check the job ad and the employer's page before you apply.
When you have a job ad
Turn a guide into your own answers
Paste a job ad into Seal the Offer. It lists what the ad asks you to send, its limits and its closing date. Then it writes one full interview answer from your resume, free.
