Add the ad
- Choose Paste a job ad at the top of the page, or use the box on our home page.
- In the Job ad box, paste the whole ad, or a link to it.
- Or choose Attach a file or photos: one PDF or Word file, or up to 6 screenshots of the ad.
- Choose Read the ad.
No ad to hand? The box on our home page has sample ads to try. Starting a job needs JavaScript turned on, for a quick check that you're a person.
If a link doesn't open
Some job sites don't let apps open their job pages, and some ads need a login. If that happens, we say so in one line. Open the ad yourself, copy all of its text, and paste it in instead.
Photos work best as clear screenshots of the whole ad. Each one can be up to 5 MB.
What we read
Next, you add your resume. Then the job's page shows the job title. Under it is one line: the employer, the place and the interview language. There's nothing to confirm.
- To fix something, choose Edit beside that line, change it, then choose Save.
- If the ad doesn't name the employer, you can add their name. Then your kit researches them too.
- If we can't find the job title, we ask for it, and only it.
- We pick which interview is next from the ad. You can change it where you get your kit. It sets your kit's size: 8 answers for a phone screen, up to 18 for a final interview.
- If we can't read the ad straight away, the page says so. You can close it: we keep trying and email you when it's ready.
Add the position description or criteria
On the job's page, open Have a job description, selection criteria or an email from the employer? Add it. Under Which document, choose Position description, Selection criteria or An email or task from the employer. Paste it or its link, or add its file. Then choose Add it.
We read every document together, so nothing they care about is missed. Only you can read what you add.
